Discussion Board Week 6

Q Instructions This week we discussed the human components of sustainable site planning. • Discussion Board Post #1 (Thursday) o From your field observations, who are the users of the site you are examining? Do you think these users are representative of your community--why or why not? If not, how do you think the site could become more inclusive? If the site is representative of your community, what site features do you think draw your community this site? • Discussion Board Post #2 (Saturday) o Respond to one of your peers: what are the similarities and differences between the users of your sites? What ideas do you have to help your peers become or sustain an inclusive atmosphere? o For the reply, all students are required to respond to at least one peer. o Grad students are required to respond to two peers. Submission Details Click on "Reply" below to make your post. I recommend drafting your post in Word (or another document) first and then copying and pasting it into the discussion post. That way you will not lose any of your work on accident. Grading Criteria This discussion is worth 10 points. Please see the "Assignments and Point Value" chart in the syllabus for details.

Currently observing my site, the area is only accessible to a few people at a time due to the parking allowance. The future users for the site will range anywhere from families or people that want to enjoy a small hike with beautiful views and tree cover. Another group of people who will be visiting the site is people that want to do enjoy through hiking along the coastal mountains. I do think that the users will very much represent the community that I live in. People here in Santa Cruz county love the natural beauty of nature and what the wildlife brings.
